What are parked domain names (or domain name aliases)?

Domain pointers allow you to "point" or "park" additional domain names to your existing hosting account. This will allow users to also reach your website when entering the "parked" or "pointed" domain into their browsers.

How can you use this?

• Say you have a website for www.workersoftoowoomba.com with an email address info@workersoftoowoomba.com. If you could also register a domain name like wot.com, this could be parked on the same hosting as workersoftoowoomba.com.
• You could then have an email address info@wot.com — so much easier to say and write.
  www.wot.com would open the website www.workersoftoowoomba.com. (Note: wot.com is already taken but this is an example.)
   
• You can also have a parked domain name point to an inside section of your website. Ask us about the simple code to enter in your index page to make that happen.

Domains must be registered with a valid registrar before they can be parked. In addition, they will not be functional unless they are configured to point to our DNS servers.
