Why do registrars and hosting companies like to sell through resellers? Simply because it's easier for them to collect money through resellers. That's why we can do cheap hosting.

If clients change their email address, the yearly or two-yearly invoice from the registrar may not reach the client who may then lose the domain name through not renewing it on time.

Resellers are always closer to the clients. Registrars and hosting companies may have tens of thousands of accounts and so cannot provide the same personal service.

Email Forwarding

What is Email Forwarding?

You can register a domain name and without paying for hosting, have the registrar forward emails to another email box.

E.g. mail to you@yourname.com can be forwarded by the registrar to you@yourISP.com or to you@yourbusiness.com.

However, if you have hosting for www.yourbusiness.com, then you can park the domain yourname.com on yourbusiness.com and setup an email account for you@yourname.com on your own hosting.

Email Forwarding is available from all domain name registrars, at various fees. We have one who charge $25/year for .com.au domain names. We have another one who provides it free, but only for .com .net .org names.

It's only an alternative to Domain Parking.
